A bullring brawl in Canada kicks off a gauntlet for some of the top DIRTcar Sportsman Series stars.
The North Region returns to action at Brockville Ontario Speedway on Saturday, June 20, for round two of the 2026 season, as drivers battle in a 40-lap Feature paying $1,400-to-win (CAN).
Saturday’s race at Brockville begins a stretch of four races in 12 days for the North Region, ending with the crowning of a champion at Can-Am Speedway on Wednesday, July 1.
Joining the DIRTcar Sportsman Series this weekend are the Empire Super Sprints, DIRTcar 358 Modifieds, and Mini Stocks.

Here’s a look at what to watch for at Brockville:
Ready For Moore: After opening the North Region with a win at Can-Am in April, Brennan Moore gets the chance to extend his points lead on Saturday at Brockville.
The Elgin, ON driver hasn’t made a start at the track this season, but did run there regularly in 2024, finishing sixth in the points standings. Moore earned four top fives and nine top 10s in nine starts that season.
In eight DIRTcar Sportsman Series starts at the track, Moore has a top five and four top 10s. His best finish is fourth during 2024’s North region visit.
Kings and Queens of Brockville: Brockville’s DIRTcar Sportsman division boasts a few stars who’ve battled for the overall DIRTcar Sportsman Series title over the past few seasons, including two-time and defending champion Shane Pecore.
The Cornwall, ON driver won the season opener at the 1/4-mile track and has won on four occasions in DIRTcar Sportsman Series competition. Pecore has also been consistent, earning 10 top fives and 11 top 10s in 12 starts. He hasn’t finished outside the top 10 in a Series event at Brockville since his first start in 2008, when he finished 12th.
Pecore is aiming for his third straight North Region victory at Brockville after he finished seventh in the region opener at Can-Am.
Joining Pecore this weekend at Brockville is Jessica Power, who also has a win there this season. Power, from Kingston, ON, enters the weekend second in the Series standings after a runner-up finish at Can-Am, where she’s also reached Victory Lane in 2026.
In 19 Series starts at Brockville, Power has a win, eight top fives, and 10 top 10s. She finished fifth in last year’s North Region event.
The most recent Feature winner at Brockville this season is last year’s Central Region champion, Gavin Eisele. The LaFargeville, NY driver scored his first win of 2026 at Brockville last weekend and has never finished outside the top 10 in four Series starts at the track.
His best finish is a second to Pecore during the 2024 North Region visit.
Ladouceur’s Momentum: One of the drivers with the momentum entering this weekend’s race at Brockville is Tristan Ladouceur.
The Alexandria, ON driver has won his last three starts at Mohawk International Raceway and hasn’t finished off the podium yet in 2026. That includes a third at Cornwall Motor Speedway on May 17, and a third in the North Region opener at Can-Am in April.
Despite the consistency, Ladouceur is searching for his first DIRTcar Sportsman Series victory. His best finish is a second on two occasions, which he earned at Mohawk and Ransomville Speedway last year.
