  Press Release

After a rain-plagued August, the NAPA Auto Parts All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Valvoline returned to action at Butler Motor Speedway, Quincy, Michigan, for the 4th Annual Chuck Wilson Memorial, where Cale Thomas, coming off a win at Attica Raceway Park the previous night, captured his third career All Star win in the Grove Racing 45.

Thomas started in the second position behind the 32 of Bryce Lucius and ahead of the 98 of Ricky Peterson and the 49X of Zeth Sabo.

Lucius would lead the first 23 laps of feature action before suffering mechanical issues on the last restart of the event.

Thomas took the lead on the consequential restart and held off the 14 of Zane DeVault and Sabo for the remaining eight laps of the 31-lap feature.

“[We] definitely didn’t need the yellows, you know. Bryce was really good in clean air, but in traffic I was right there. It would have been tough, but I’ll take it.” Thomas said of his battle with Lucius in the Gates Corporation victory lane.

On Friday, August 28th, the NAPA Auto Parts All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Valvoline head to Freedom Motorsports Park, Delevan, New York, followed by Sharon Speedway, Hartford, Ohio, on Saturday, August 29th. Both races are $7,500-to-win. For more information on the 2026 schedule, visit www.allstarsprintcar.com.
