FloRacing reports that Carson Hocevar plans to take on the entire FloRacing Night in America Series for 2026.
The outlet’s Kyle McFadden included Hocevar as part of a list of 12 drivers who are expected to race in the series full-time. Additionally, Motorsport.com’s Matt Weaver also reported that “Hocevar will also chase points in the FloRacing Night in America Dirt Late Model championship this summer.”
Hocevar was originally planning to compete in the series opener at LaSalle, but unfortunately it was postponed due to thunderstorms and rain. However, he did share that he will compete tonight at Spoon River and then on Thursday at Lincoln. He reacted to LaSalle getting postponed writing on X, “still got wednesday and thursday in the dirt late model though.”

Hocevar is no stranger to a dirt late model. He last competed in one at the Gateway Dirt Nationals in December, where he finished 10th in the Saturday night feature. He’s also competed at Eldora as well as The Dirt Track at Charlotte.
The FloRacing Night in America Series will definitely test his mettle as it is one of the most competitive series in the country and he’ll be facing off against the likes of Bobby Pierce, Nick Hoffman, Ricky Thornton Jr., Brandon Sheppard, Hudson O’Neal, Devin Moran, Tyler Erb, Garrett Alberson, Ryan Gustin, Dennis Erb Jr., and Kyle Hammer.
Not only will he be going up against the best-of-the-best in the dirt late model world, but he’ll also be competing at some of the best tracks across the country. The series visits Spoon River Speedway, Lincoln Speedway, Eldora Speedway, Fairbury Speedway, Marshalltown Speedway, Mason City Motor Speedway, LaSalle Speedway, Lincoln Park Speedway, Volunteer Speedway, and Senoia Raceway this year.
The series has a total points fund of over $137,000 for the season. The champion will take home $75,000 if he has perfect attendance or a $50,000 without perfect attendance. Not all of the races will count similar to Speedweeks, only a driver’s top eight finishes will count towards the championship. In the case that less than eight races are held, all finishes will count towards the title.
Bobby Pierce is the defending series champion. He best Jonathan Davenport by just 6 points in 2025. It was Pierce’s second series championship. He previously won in 2023 as well. Other champions include Ricky Thornton Jr. in 2024, Brandon Sheppard in 2022, and Jonathan Davenport won the inaugural championship in 2021.
