The Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series fueled by VP will roll into Millstream Speedway in Findlay, Ohio for a doubleheader dubbed the “Master of Millstream” weekend presented by Ohio Logistics Warehousing & Transportation.
On Friday, August 14, the competitors of the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series will race 30 laps on the quarter-mile track within the confines of the facility and 4/10th’s mile track for $5,000-to-win. The Great Lakes Traditional Sprints, the Great Lakes Lightning Sprints and Dirt Trucks will also be on tap.
On Saturday, August 15, the series will race 40 laps on the 4/10th’s mile track paying $10,000-to-win. The FAST on Dirt Sprint Cars and Great Lakes Traditional Sprints will also join in the program for the evening.

During last year’s thrilling event at Millstream on the 4/10th’s mile, Rusty Schlenk took home the caution-free $5,000 payday over Clint Keenan, Matt Miller, Devin Shiels and Rod Conley. This will mark the 11th and 12th visit by the series dating back to the inaugural season. Former winners to Millstream include Larry Yantis & Kris Patterson (twice) in 1995, Rick DeLong & Shane Yoder in 1998, Kris Patterson, Steve Casebolt & Hillard Miller in 1999, Wayne Chinn in 2008 and Rusty Schlenk in August 2025.
Colten Burdette of Parkersburg, W.V. leads the ALMIM contingent into Millstream’s doubleheader this weekend over Rod Conley, Seth Daniels, Miles Cook II, Travis Carr & R.J. Conley rounding out the top six in the current points. Three-time winner this season Rusty Schlenk of Jackson, Mich. is expected back to defend his title as he sits seventh in the current standings while Tyler Carpenter, Justin Cooper & Rob Anderzack complete the current top ten in the championship standings.
The pit gates will open at 2:00 pm each day, the grandstand gates will open at 4:00 pm each day, the driver’s meeting is slated for 6:00 pm each evening with on-track activity beginning at 6:30 pm. Streaming each night will be on GreatLakesSprints.tv
The tire rule each night is Hoosier NLMT 2 & NLMT 3 on the fronts and left rear with the right rear being Hoosier NLMT 3 & NLMT 4. The entry fee is $50 each night and $75 tow money will go to any car not making the field of 22. Both events will also be Valvoline Weekend Allstars points-paying events.
