Hovis RUSH Late Model Flynn’s Tire/Gunter’s Honey Tour Doubleheader Weekend; Saturday At Marion Center & Sunday At Eriez

August 5, 2026  ·
  Press Release

After a season high 49 cars competed at the “Jook George Steel City Classic” at Pittsburgh PA Motor Speedway on July 25, the Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Late Model Flynn’s Tire/Gunter’s Honey Touring Series will have a western Pennsylvania doubleheader this weekend. Marion Center (PA) Raceway will welcome back the Tour on Saturday night (August 8) followed up by the season’s second appearance to Eriez Speedway in Erie, Pa. on Sunday evening (August 9) for “Manufacturers Night” presented by MSD Performance with $33,000+ of valuable product giveaways!  Both races will pay $4,000 to-win. Sunday is also RUSH Stock Car “Manufacturers Night” presented by MSD Performance with approximately $9,000 of giveaways meaning more than $42,000 of valuable products will be distributed to RUSH racers at Eriez!

For the first time in two years, the Flynn’s Tire/Gunter’s Honey Tour will return to Marion Center Raceway on Saturday night for what will be the richest Chevrolet Performance Late Model race in the track’s history! Jeremy Wonderling won the inaugural show in 2023 then swept both events in 2024 with the latter attracting a Marion Center record 32 cars. Marion Center is neutral ground as the track hasn’t hosted RUSH Late Model weekly racing since 2023 when Joe Martin won four times in route to the Track Pack title.

Meanwhile, there have been 17 Flynn’s Tire/Gunter’s Honey Tour events completed all-time at Eriez. Max Blair has eight victories, while his father Rob has one in a substitution role for Max. Kyle Hardy swept both events in 2021 in route to the championship. In 2022, Logan Roberson won the May event for his first Eriez win, while Josh Ferry scored an upset career first Touring Series victory in July on “Manufacturers Night”. Wonderling won the 2023 spring race finally getting his first Tour win at Eriez then added a second win at the 2024 “Manufacturers Night” event over an Eriez record 55-car field.  Dave Hess, Jr. became a new Eriez RUSH Tour winner last year capturing the “Manufacturers Night” event over a 52-car field. Wonderling won his third Eriez Tour event back in May.

Sunday will mark the 15th edition of “Manufacturers Night” presented by MSD Performance, which will take place at Eriez for the seventh time with a minimum of $33,000 posted in valuable product giveaways!  There will be 50 packages distributed with a minimum value of $480 up to $2,030; this year each driver will also receive a 16 oz. bottle of Off-Road Wash & a 16 oz. bottle of Gorilla Shield from new marketing partner Gorilla Powersport Products.

The grand prize will be awarded by new marketing partner, Henry’s Headers & Exhaust Systems. Henry’s has contributed a custom set of 604 Crate Late Model stainless headers, mufflers, extensions, turndowns & gaskets valued at $2,000! Another new marketing partner that will participate in “Manufacturers Night” on Sunday is Winters Performance, which will award a pair of $300 gift certificates.

The complete list of packages for the Late Models is posted below.  It’s possible that drivers can win multiple prizes if there are less than 50 cars.  In the event of more than 50 cars, additional packages will be added so that every competing driver will receive a manufacturers package valued at several hundred dollars.

Also on Sunday, RUSH will remember Aubrey Ellen Sonney. Aubrey was the daughter of lifelong race fan and big RUSH supporter, Dave Sonney, who tragically lost her life in an auto accident years ago.  Dave wanted to remember her on Sunday by doing a $333 cash drawing to a lucky RUSH Late Model driver!

For the 12th straight year, MSD Performance proudly presents all of the RUSH Series “Manufacturers Nights” and contributes product as well along with their parent company, Holley Performance Products. The drawings will take place immediately following the drivers meeting, which will get underway at 5:25 p.m.  Drivers need to be registered by that time in order to participate in the drawings.  With over $12,000 of contingencies posted during the “Bill Emig Memorial” presented by Sunoco Race Fuels to non-qualifiers, coupled with contingencies awarded throughout the season brings the total to more than $50,000 of valuable products being distributed to RUSH Late Model racers.

Past locations of “Manufacturers Nights” with car counts in parentheses are Sharon Speedway in 2012 (57), Pittsburgh’s PA Motor Speedway in 2013 (40), McKean County Raceway in 2014 (43), Eriez in 2015 (47), Tri-City Raceway Park 2016-2018 (58, 48, 45), Pittsburgh in 2019 (36), Eriez in 2021-2024 (46, 39, 52, 55, 52) while the 2020 drawings was contested through the Weekly Series points due to COVID-19.  The average car count for “Manufacturers Night” is 47.5!

“This will be a great weekend for RUSH Late Model racers with two Touring Series events in western Pennsylvania,” acknowledged RUSH Director Vicki Emig. “We’re looking forward to returning to Marion Center on Saturday. The Tour events there in the past were very exciting that had the fans on their edge of their seats! We can’t thank the Reitz Family enough for allowing us to return. Manufacturers Night is always one of our biggest events of the season. Eriez is a perfect location and allows all teams the ability to participate with no other RUSH events scheduled. Track owner Dave Alexander has been a huge supporter of RUSH running both our Late Models and Stock Cars on a weekly basis and hosting two Late Model Tour events each season. Also, huge thank you goes out to all of our great marketing partners that contributed product to Manufacturers Night for both the Late Models and Stock Cars.”

Five-time Flynn’s Tire/Gunter’s Honey Touring Series Champion, Jeremy Wonderling, who is the only repeat winner this season in right events, leads the Tour into the weekend atop the standings by 26 over Demetrios Drellos, who won his first career Tour event last month at Stateline. Thanks to six straight top 10 finishes, Christian Schneider has moved into third in points atop the $3,000 to-win 3C Graphix Rookie-of-the-Year standings. Daryl Charlier is fourth in points over rookie Kurt Stebbins. Sixth through 10th in points are Ben Easler, Austin Allen, Jason Knowles, Ashton Briggs, and Cody Dawson.

Eriez has completed seven events thus far this season part of the Colussy Chevrolet Weekly Series as Wonderling leads the way with four victories in four appearances! Other winners include Billy Henry, Jr., Andrew Chess, and Breyton Santee; the win by Chess was the first of his career. Henry leads the $1,000 to-win Track Pack points over Santee.

Schneider Trucks will present the “Hottest of the Hot” with $50 going to the driver that turns the fastest lap in hot laps each night.  $100 “Shock the Clock” Qualifying and $25 to-win heat races will be presented by FK Rod Ends. The Sunoco Dash will set the beginning rows of the feature lineup and will award the winner a $100 Sunoco fuel gift card.

Hoosier Tire Western PA/Big Daddy’s Speed Center will award a $100 gift card for the “Pedal Down” Hard Charger that passes the most cars in the feature each night.  Close Racing Supply will award a $100 gift card for the driver chosen as the “Tough Break of the Night”. Ontime Body & Graphic’s “Spoiler Alert” will award a spoiler kit to the ninth-place finisher on night one and the 10th place finisher on night two.  The first feature non-qualifier will receive a $50 certificate from Holley Performance brands each night.

Each night, Bazell Race Fuels presents the “Fill’er up with Sunoco Bucks” where random drawings will take place for two $100 Sunoco Fuel cards for Tour drivers and four $50 Sunoco Fuel cards for non-Tour drivers.  There will also be five BOGO Landrum Performance Springs certificates given away through drawings each night.

Saturday will be the second of the “Allegiance Rewards” drawings presented by Capital Contracting Service, which is owned by RUSH Late Model racer Sean Boskovic. Touring member drivers who have competed in a minimum of 75% of the completed events will be eligible for the three cash drawings of $300, $200, $100.
