Jonathan Davenport announced he will race at Norman County Raceway on Tuesday, June 30th with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series.
In a post to Facebook, Davenport and his team shared, “Jonathan Davenport and Double L Motorsports are excited to venture north to Norman County Raceway on Tuesday, June 30 to race with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series in the Ada Building Center, LLC Start to Finish Showdown presented by KRJB KRJM KKCQ Radio!!”
The team concluded, “If you’re in the Ada, Minnesota area, we hope you’ll show up and show out to watch us compete for the $20,000 top prize. See you there!”
In an accompanying video, Davenport also added, “As everybody knows I’m not running a series this year so we decided to do something a little different and go to race tracks that I’ve never been to before. One of them is going to be on June 30th, Norman County Raceway. We’re going to race there with the World of Outlaws Late Models for the Ada Building Center Start to Finish Showdown which is going to be presented by RNJ Broadcasting.”
“They’ve had some pretty good racing there over the last couple of years. We’ve watched a few videos and I’m pretty excited to get out there and check out the new place. The Start to Finish Showdown at Norman County Raceway is a midweek race and takes place on Tuesday, June 30th with $20,000 to-win on the line.
This year will mark the Outlaws third consecutive trip to the track. The two previous trips were won by Nick Hoffman in 2024 and 2025.
The race takes place at the end of the Outlaws’ trip out west and north. It begins this weekend at 141 Speedway in Maribel, Wisconsin on June 19 and 20. They then have two midweek races at Ogilvie Raceway in Ogilvie, Minnesota on Monday, June 22nd, and then at I-94 emr Speedway in Fergus Falls, Minnesota on June 24th. On Friday, June 26th the series pulls into River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Then on Sunday, June 28th it is at Nodak Speedway in Minot, North Dakota.
After the stop at Norman County on June 30th, it concludes the trip with the famed Gopher 50 at Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minnesota. The Gopher 50 takes place from July 2-4.
Davenport was last in action for the Dirt Late Model Dream at Eldora Speedway where he finished 6th. He won the feature on Friday night in preliminary action for the event. He finished 10th during the FloRacing Night in America series event that took place on Wednesday night before the Dream.
