Justin Haley announced he will make his Dirt Super Late Model debut for Spire Motorsports in a little over a week at the World 100 at Eldora Speedway.
Spire Motorsports announced Haley as their driver in a post to social media, “Heading to The Big E. Justin Haley will drive our Freeway Insurance Dirt Late Model next month in the World 100 at Eldora Speedway.”

Haley added in his own post, “I’m proud to announce that I’ll be joining Spire Motorsports Ascent for the World 100 and making my Dirt Super Late Model debut.”

As Haley shared, he’s been racing on his dirt his whole life. Just this year he competed down at Volusia Speedway Park in the DIRTcar UMP Modifieds where he put together a number of strong runs albeit he never got a win. However, he had a number of Top 5s and Top 10s. In fact, in all his starts he only finished outside the Top 10 once and that was an 11th place finish on January 30th. While he did not get any Little Gators this year, he won a handful back in 2023 and finished 3rd in the championship feature.
He had two really good runs at the end of June with the DIRTcar Summit Modifieds. He finished second at Benton Speedway on June 23rd and followed that up with a win at Camden Speedway besting some of the best Modified drivers in the country including Zeke McKenzie, Cole Falloway, Charlie Mefford, Hunt Gossum, and Lucas Lee. Not only did he win the race, but he dominated it.
“It’s rare to get in a race car and feel that good straight out from the rip. I’m just extremely happy. This track just fit my driving style and, obviously, coming to all these tracks for the first time is hard,” Haley said after winning. “This is just fun; I was fortunate to get a few weeks off from the NASCAR stuff. This car is my pride and joy; it’s everything I work for. It means more because this is my own program and kind of calling the shots with my crew chief, Matt Smith.”
The World 100 is the Super Bowl of Super Dirt Late Model racing. The race regularly attracts huge car counts and as of August 30th there are already 58 drivers registered for this year’s 3-day event including Brandon Sheppard, Dale McDowell, Jonathan Davenport, Bobby Pierce, Tyler Carpenter, Ricky Thornton Jr., Nick Hoffman, Jason Feger, Jimmy Owens, Shannon Babb, and Josh Rice.
This year the Thursday and Friday Twin 25 prelims will pay $12,000 to-win and the Saturday night World 100 will pay $100,000 to the win with A-Main start money starting at $5,600.
The World 100 starts on Thursday September 10 and runs through Saturday September 12th. Racing action on Thursday will begin at 6:00 PM with Hot Laps. Heat races are expected to begin at 8:00 PM.
Ricky Thornton Jr. is the defending champion of the event. Bobby Pierce won it in 2024, Hudson O’Neal won in 2023, Jonathan Davenport was the champion in 2022, and Brandon Overton won in 2021.
