Kasey Jedrzejek will reportedly fill-in for the injured Brenham Crouch when High Limit Racing returns to the east coast for the Tuscarora 50 at Port Royal Speedway later this month.
Crouch was sidelined from the CJB Motorsports after he broke his arm during the Hard Knox race during the Knoxville Nationals. On lap 5 of the 25-lap feature, Donny Schatz made a huge move passing both Scelzi and race leader Carson McCarl. Scelzi then made contact with McCarl’s right rear with his left front. The contact immediately sent Scelzi head first into the outside wall where he began flipping.
Crouch was running the high line through the corner and attempted to avoid the flipping Scelzi, but had nowhere to go and smashed hard into him. The contact then violently flipped him over before he eventually came to a stop on all four wheels.

Crouch underwent surgery for his broken arm on August 25th and was given a six-week timeline to recover before being able to return to full-time competition.
Brenham underwent successful surgery yesterday morning in Indianapolis to repair the broken arm he sustained at the Knoxville Nationals. He has been given a six-week recovery timeline before returning to full-time competition.

With Crouch sidelined CJB Motorsports tapped Dominic Scelzi to fill-in for him during High Limit Racing’s west coast swing, which concludes this weekend at Skagit Speedway with the Skagit Nationals.
Scelzi finished 14th at Santa Maria and 24th at the Tulare Thunderbowl. He failed to make the feature at Placerville, finishing 8th in a C-Main. At Silver Dollar Speedway for the Gold Cup Race of Champions he finished 17th, 13th, and 15th. Most recently, he finished 9th at the Douglas County Dirt Track.
While Scelzi was tapped to fill-in during the west coast swing, it left the question of who would do the honors when the series returned to the east coast. SprintCarUnlimited.com’s Jeremy Elliott reports that Kasey Jedrzejek has gotten that call.
He shared, “Kasey Jedrzejek will be the new fill-in driver for the CJB Motorsports No. 5 when High Limit heads east for the 3-day Tuscarora 50 at Port Royal Speedway.”
Elliott also relayed that Jedrzejek made the trip with the World of Outlaws to North Dakota and was working on the cars driven by Amelia and Laela Eisenschenk. It was there that he “talked to car owner Chad Clemens and Barry Jackson that led to a deal being struck. Jedrzejek will help CJB Motorsports this weekend at Huset’s before flying to central [Pennsylvania] to get fitted in a car.”
Jedrzejek was fired by Bill Rose Racing at the end of August. Jedrzejek announced at the time, “I want to share that I have officially been released from my driving duties with Bill Rose Racing. I’m grateful to Bill Rose for giving me the opportunity to compete with the team and for the experiences I gained along the way. I appreciate everyone who worked alongside me and supported me during this chapter of my racing career. I’m proud of the work we put in, the challenges we faced, and everything I learned from the experience.”
Bill Rose Racing added in its own statement, “After careful consideration, Bill Rose Racing has made the decision to part ways with Kasey Jedrzejek as our driver, effective immediately.”

Jedrzejek has 1 Top 5 and 5 Top 10s this year with the World of Outlaws. His Top 5 was a third place finish at River Cities at the end of May. His Top 10s were a 9th place finish at Volusia during DIRTcar Nationals in February, a 10th at Tri-State in the middle of April, another 10th at Jacksonville Speedway in May, and a 9th place in his last start at Jackson Motorplex in August.
