Kentucky Tripleheader Next For Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals Series From May 7-9

Rounds seven, eight, and nine of the Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals Series presented by Coltman Farms Racing and fueled by Sunoco are set for this weekend in the Bluegrass State! After sanctioning six events in South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia so far in 2026, the tour ventures north to Kentucky from May 7-9 for a trio of races at three different venues. Nearly $80,000 in purse money is up for grabs at Hidden Hollow Speedway in Colson, Kentucky, Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Kentucky, and Lake Cumberland Speedway in Burnside, Kentucky.

The triple shot of Super Late Model competition kicks off on Thursday night with the inaugural stop by the Spring Nationals Series to Hidden Hollow Speedway, as a $5,053 winner’s check will be up for grabs. The pit gates will open at 2:00pm tomorrow and the grandstands will start to allow fans into the venue at 3:00pm. The drivers meeting is set for 6:45pm with hot laps scheduled to take to the track at 7:00pm. Joining the Super Late Models on the ‘Coal Miners Classic’ racing card will be the Open Wheel Modified, Sport Mod, and 4-Cylinder FWD divisions.

Grandstand admission at Hidden Hollow will be $25.00 for adults and FREE for kids ages 10 and under. A pit pass will be $45.00 for adults, $20.00 for kids ages 6-12, and FREE for children ages 5 and under. Hidden Hollow Speedway is located at 145 Locust Drive in Whitesburg, Kentucky. The track phone number is 606-335-2711 or contact the track via email at [email protected].

The 18th Annual ‘John Bradshaw Memorial’ then takes center stage on Friday evening at the legendary Ponderosa Speedway. The Super Late Models will be gunning for a $7,553 top prize and will be joined on the program by the Crate Late Models ($1,200 to win), Open Wheel Modifieds ($1,000 to win), and Crown Vics ($400 to win). The pit gates will swing open at 4:00pm and the grandstands will open an hour later at 5:00pm. The drivers meeting is slated for 7:00pm with hot laps to follow.

Grandstand admission at Ponderosa will be $30.00 for adults and FREE for kids ages 12 and under. A pit pass will be $45.00 for adults, $20.00 for kids ages 6-12, and FREE for children ages 5 and under. Ponderosa Speedway is located at 365 Phillips Lane in Junction City, Kentucky. More information on the track can be accessed by calling 859-537-3056 or by logging onto www.ponderosaspeedway.net.

The tripleheader will then wrap up in a big way on Saturday with the $10,053 to win ‘Johnny Wheeler Memorial’ at Lake Cumberland Speedway. Along with the Super Late Models on the card will be Pro Late Model ($1,531 to win), Modified ($1,031 to win), Hobby Stock ($531 to win), Mini Stock ($531 to win), and Crown Vic ($531 to win) classes. The gates will open at 2:00pm with the drivers meeting scheduled for 6:00pm and hot laps to follow.
