Kyle Bronson confirmed he has pulled out of the USA Nationals that is coming up this weekend at Cedar Lake Speedway after hurting a motor.

The FANS Fund originally made the announcement sharing on Facebook, “Unfortunately Kyle Bronson has had to withdrawal this year as he has had motor issues at the PDC. I would like to thank him for participating this year.”

In the comments Bronson shared, “Really hate it. Cedar Lake is one of my favorite places. I really appreciate everything you guys do and appreciate all the fans getting me there. It means a lot. Looking forward to seeing all you guys next year!”

Additionally, Bronson’s team added in a separate post to Facebook, “We did have to cancel our trip to Cedar Lake Speedway for this week. Unfortunately we lost a couple of motors this past week, so with that , we had to focus on the Lucas Events in the short term until we get another motor. KB hated missing out on this.”

“Cedar Lake Speedway and FANS Fund put on such a great event, the USA Nationals. We appreciate everyone that contributed to fans fund, again, we are sorry we are missing it and we’ll look forward to next years event,” the team concluded.

Bronson finished 25th in the Prairie Dirt Classic on Saturday night after starting in 17th. He advanced into the feature after winning his Last Chance Showdown race.

The Killer from Brandon, Florida is currently 10th in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series points. He is 1125 behind current leader Brandon Sheppard and 210 behind 9th place Josh Rice. He has a 90 point lead over 11th place Clay Harris.

The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series is next in action at the beginning of August for the North/South 100 at Florence Speedway. Racing action will begin on Thursday, August 6th and continue through the weekend concluding on the 8th.

Bronson has made the main event in five North/South 100s. His average finish is 13th. His best finish was 6th in 2021. The last time he made the show he finished 10th in 2023. He failed to make the event in 2024 and 2025. Last year he just missed the show. He finished fifth in his heat, two spots out of the transfer spot. Then in his B-Main he finished fourth. Again, that was two spots out of a transfer position. Then in the non-qualifiers race he finished fourth.

He will obviously be looking for better results this year and will hope to get his best finish ever and most certainly his best finish since 2021.
