Kyle Larson will take on the High Rollers of High Limit Racing at Lawrenceburg Speedway on Friday, May 29th.

The series shared to social media, “KL is back on the Sprint Car grind. Friday’s Driven2Save Battle at the ‘Burg marks the first of seven upcoming Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing events for Kyle Larson in Paul Silva’s machine!”

The High Limit Racing series has a flurry of races to conclude May and begin June. After Lawrenceburg on Friday night, the series will head to Butler Speedway in Quincy, Michigan on Saturday night. It then has a couple of midweek races to start the month of June. On Monday, June 1st the series will be in Iowa at Davenport Speedway. They’ll get a travel day on Tuesday, but will be back in action at Red Cedar Speedway in Menomonie, Wisconsin on Wednesday. They’ll then haul to Gondik Law Speedway in Superior, Wisconsin for a Thursday night race. On Friday, racing action will be at I-94 Speedway in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. The series concludes the week at Dacotah Speedway in Mandan, North Dakota.

There’s a brief respite as they have another midweek race at Eagle Raceway in Eagle, Nebraska on Tuesday, June 9th. Then on Thursday, June 11th they race at Shelby County Speedway in Harlan, Iowa. It’s unclear what the other six tracks aside from Lawrenceburg are on Larson’s schedule.

In 6 features with High Limit, Larson has 2 wins, 2 Top 5s, and 5 Top 10s. He won the series opener at the Dirt Track at Las Vegas. He also won at the end of April when the series rolled into Texas Motor Speedway. In his most recent outing with the series at Grandview Speedway on May 19th he finished 13th.

Larson will be facing stiff competition as the red hot Aaron Reutzel returns to High Limit competition after winning at Grandview and then winning with the Outlaws at Knoxville and securing a podium at Huset’s after the Bob Weikert Memorial was postponed due to rain. Additionally, Rico Abreu has been heating up as well. Abreu finished first and second with the Outlaws at Eldora and was second to Reutzel at both Grandview and Knoxville.

Those two lead the High Limit Racing series Championship standings. Reutzel has a 33 point advantage over Abreu. Not far behind is Tanner Thorson in third. He’s just 43 points out. Giovanni Scelzi is just 60 points out in fourth. Kerry Madsen completes the top 5. He’s 131 back. The rest of the top 10 includes Tyler Courtney, Justin Peck, Daison Pursley, Sye Lynch, and Brent Marks.
