Longhorn Dynamics announced that its partnership with Öhlins is expanding with the addition of VG Performance.

The company announced in a post to Facebook, “We’re excited to have VG Performance join us in bringing Öhlins products, technology, and support to even more racers.”

“Customers can purchase Öhlins products directly through Longhorn Dynamics or through VG Performance, all backed by the development and resources of Longhorn Dynamics,” it explained. “Another big step forward in strengthening our partnership with Öhlins and continuing to push development in the right direction for our drivers and teams. More resources. More development. More performance.”

VG Performance owner Vinny Guliani echoed the announcement from Longhorn Dynamics, but also assured current customers, “VG Performance will continue to service our existing Bilstein customers.”

Guliani began his motorsports career working with Shane Clanton in 2005. He went on to work at JRi Shocks, Bilstein Shocks, the Red Bull Racing NASCAR Team, and Joe Gibbs Racing as well as with dirt late model drivers Jonathan Davenport, Brandon Overton, and Kyle Strickler.

He created VG Performance in 2006, but made it his full time operation in 2023 and originally partnered with Longhorn Chassis and Bilstein Shocks. His clients are some of the top late model teams in the country. They include: Devin Moran, Garrett Alberson, Carson Ferguson, Brian Shirley, Drake Troutman, Frank Heckenast Jr., Brandon Overton, G.R. Smith Motorsports and Zack Mitchell, Max Blair, Cody Overton, Adam Stricker, Logan Zarin, Kyle Moore, Devin Gilpin, Garrett Smith, Jake Knowles, Dylan Thornton, Hayes Mattern, Derek Groomer, and more.

A number of top drivers already run Öhlins including Bobby Pierce, Hudson O’Neal when he is in the No. 6 K&L Rumley car, Jason Feger, Jake O’Neil, Michael Leach, Dustin Sorensen, Carson Hocevar, 

It will be interesting to see what happens with this new deal and if drivers will make the switch to Öhlins through VG Performance.
