The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series presented by Showtime Properties rolled into Senoia Raceway on Saturday evening and it was Douglasville, Georgia native Michael Page that ended the night celebrating in victory lane! Michael knocked down the fastest lap in Group B during the qualifying session to earn the outside of the front row for the start of the 50-lap headliner. After pacing the field for the first seven circuits, Michael gave way to third-starting Shane Clanton, who dominated the contest until suffering a flat left-rear tire on the 32nd lap.
Michael inherited the point and led the final nineteen laps to pocket the $7,500 first place prize money. Sixth-starting Todd Morrow vaulted up to second to finish an impressive runner-up – only 0.253 of a second behind Page at the unfurling of the checkered flag. Allen Styck turned in a strong performance to round out the podium in third. Jeremy Steele, who ran as high as second, slipped to fourth in the waning laps, while thirteenth-starting Matt Dooley claimed the final spot inside of the top five.
“I felt Todd Morrow and seen him a couple of times, but I just couldn’t come off that top line,” quoted the winning Page in victory lane at the Senoia, Georgia facility. “I just couldn’t get through the holes on the top. Shane Clanton could go right through them and he was by far the best car. I don’t race enough to race like that – I tell you what, that’s hard to hold on through the rough like that.”
Michael Page, who now has nine career SAS triumphs, piloted a Ridge Cole Racing #18x Mach X Chassis powered by a Jay Dickens Racing Engine with sponsorship in part from Southern Ridge Home & Development, Baird Truck & Trailer Sales, Level Excavation Utilities, ML Masonry, Fundtool, Cove 2 Coast Marine, RSA Hauling, C&S Auto Electric, CSR Aluminum Fabrication, and Modern Images.
A total of 22 cars were on hand for round eleven of the Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series presented by Showtime Properties on Saturday at Senoia Raceway. Friday’s series winner at Cochran Motor Speedway – Shane Clanton – knocked down the quickest time in MRP Fantasy Racing hot laps with a time of 14.791 seconds. Payton Stevenson then earned Fast Time honors during VP Racing Fuels qualifying with his fast lap of 14.693 seconds, which landed him the pole position for the 50-lapper.
After eleven SAS races so far in 2026, there have been eight different winners – Brandon Overton (3 victories), Tucker Anderson (2 victories), Chris Madden, Trae Kirk, Bo Slay, Sam Seawright, Shane Clanton, and Michael Page. Anderson currently sits atop of the latest series point standings by 96 markers over Kendall Franklin. Dillon Daves, Billy Franklin, and Will Hicks sit third through fifth in the point tally exiting Senoia Raceway.
