MRP’s Dustbuster & Skyline’s Rumble Await Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series

A pair of Buckeye State events are next for the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series fueled by VP. The series will visit MRP (Moler) Raceway Park on Friday July 17 for the $8,000-to-win Fifth Annual Dustbuster 40. The series then travels to Skyline Speedway on Saturday July 18 for the Fifth Annual Rumble on the Ridge event.

The Dustbuster 40 keeps growing at MRP Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio. The fifth annual edition of the blockbuster event pays $8,000-to-win and $1,000-to-start the 22-car field on Friday July 17. In addition, Team Spirit Trailers will be paying each Heat Race a record $2,000-to-win, $500 for second, $250 for third and $150 for fourth for the four heat races. A record $50,000 in payouts will go to drivers during the evening’s activities. No entry fee for this event. A last chance Dash will take the winner to the main event, giving drivers one more shot after the B-Mains to try and get into the show. During the 2024 Dustbuster thriller, Nick Hoffman of Mooresville, N.C. took home the $7,000 payday over Josh Rice of Crittenden, Ky., Jason Jameson of Lawrenceburg, Ind., R.J. Conley of Wheelersburg, Ohio & Devin Gilpin of Columbus, Ind. The Sport Mods, Compacts, Crown Vics & Legends will join in with the Dustbuster action. The pits open at 2:00 pm and hot laps will roll out at 7:00 pm. Previous Dustbuster 40 winners include Josh Rice (twice), R.J. Conley & Nick Hoffman.

On Saturday, July 18, the series will visit Skyline Speedway in Stewart, Ohio for the second-ever series visit paying $5,000-to-win and $500-to-start during the 30-lap “5th Annual Rumble on the Ridge event. This will also be a Valvoline Weekend Allstars points event. The UMP DIRTcar Modifieds and Sport Mods will also be in the racing card for the evening. The pits open at 4:00 pm with hot laps rolling out at 7:15 pm. During last year’s Harvest 50 at Skyline Speedway, Colten Burdette of Parkersburg, W.V. took home the $5,000 payday in the first-ever series visit while Michael Lake, Caiden Black, Clint Keenan & Seth Daniels rounded out the top-five. Previous Rumble on the Ridge winners include Corey Conley, Tyler Carpenter (twice) and Colten Burdette.

The tire rule each night will be: Fronts & Left Rear: Hoosier NLMT 2 & NLMT 3. The Right Rear will by Hoosier NLMT 3 & NLMT 4.
