The 38th Annual Pittsburgher will now focus exclusively on a single-day event this Saturday, October 3.
The schedule update is being made in light of heavy rainfall forecasted across the region on Friday from the remnants of Hurricane Polo.
Saturday’s events will proceed as originally scheduled. A complete program is on deck for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series including Dirt Draft Hot Laps, Allstar Performance Time Trials, Heat Races, B-Mains, and the $50,000-to-win A-Main.
The RUSH Late Model Series will compete in a full program for the Bill Hendren Memorial, while the Penn Ohio Pro Stocks will also compete in the Big Daddy’s Donuts 5th Annual Bob Walters Memorial presented by It’s All Clean Inc.
Pit gates are tentatively scheduled to open at 12:00 PM Saturday, with general admission gates opening at 3:00 PM. A driver autograph session is scheduled for 4:30 PM to 5:15 PM prior to Hot Laps at 6:00 PM.
All tickets purchased in advance for Friday’s program will be automatically refunded through MyRacePass. Fans do not need to take any action to receive their refund if the tickets were purchased through MyRacePass.
Camping move-in will proceed as scheduled on Thursday and Friday. No refunds or partial refunds will be administered for camping.
Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway, a half-mile oval known as “Dirt’s Monster Half Mile,” is situated at 170 Kelso Road, just a short drive from downtown Pittsburgh. Advance tickets, camping passes, and official event details are available at PPMS.com.
