Ricky Thornton Jr. and his Koehler Motorsports team unveiled a new fiery summer wrap for Crown Jewel season ahead of this weekend’s Show-Me 100 at Lucas Oil Speedway.
Thornton shared the wrap, which was designed by Slicker Graphics, in a post to Facebook. He wrote, “We thought we’d try to heat things up a little bit to start off crown jewel this season.”
As you can see, Thornton’s new wrap has quite a bit more yellow on it than his previous one. The trim around the bottom of the door and the hood is all yellow. Additionally, the numbers and even the logos have an eye-popping fade from red to orange to yellow as your eye moves down the car. The overall design delivers a vibrant, high-contrast look that emphasizes speed and aggression.

Along with the new wrap, Thornton also shared new merchandise to accompany it. His team wrote, “When the merch is as good as the wrap.. Three shirt designs, men’s and women’s tanks, toddler and youth items, new sublimated tees and hoodies, hats, DIECAST, flags, cups, replica doors and cars, we’ve got it all!”
“Orders will begin shipping Tuesday, May 26th, as inventory allows! Items like diecast, sublimated items, & flags may have a longer fulfillment time if they sell out (up to 3 weeks) Diecast 2-100 are in stock and will be sold this weekend at Lucas Oil Speedway first & then shipped in order,” they concluded.
Thornton enters the Show-Me 100 weekend fourth in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Championship standings. He’s currently 250 points behind Hudson O’Neal. He is coming off a solid runner-up performance at Eagle Raceway on the lone night that the series was able to compete at the track with the other two nights getting rained out.
Lucas Oil Speedway is a track Thornton performs well at. In 2024, Thornton won both the Cowboy Classic and the Tribute to Don and Billie Gibson. In 2025, he also won the first night of the Diamond Nationals.
While he has yet to capture a Show-Me 100 win, he has been consistently strong over the last six years with four top 5s and 6 top 10s. His best finish was 2nd back in 2022 when Chris Ferguson won. He finished 7th last year.

The 34th Annual Lucas Oil Show-Me 100 will pay $75,000 to-win. Racing action is expected to get started on Saturday, May 23rd with the pit gates opening at 2 PM and spectator gates opening at 4 PM. Opening ceremonies are scheduled for 6:45 PM with racing action expected to begin shortly afterwards. The finale will be preceded by the 13tn Annual Cowboy Classic on Thursday night and the Tribute to Don and Billie Gibson on Friday night. Both of those races will pay $10,000 to the winner.
In the event of inclement weather, series and track officials have determined that Sunday, May 24th will be the rain date for the 34th Annual Show-Me 100. Hopefully, Thornton’s new fiery wrap will be able to keep the rain away and they will be able to race.
