Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals Series Wraps Up With Holiday Weekend Triple Shot

The 2026 version of the Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals Series presented by Coltman Farms Racing and fueled by Sunoco will conclude over the Memorial Day holiday weekend with a trio of events at three different venues in the states of Georgia and Tennessee.  

Kicking off the tripleheader will be the annual running of the ‘Biddle Ridley Memorial’ on Saturday, May 23 at North Georgia Speedway. The winner at the Chatsworth, Georgia venue will receive a $7,553 first place prize. On Sunday, May 24, the action will quickly shift to Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, Tennessee for a $10,053 to win program. The Spring Nationals tour will then wrap up on Monday, May 25 at Sugar Creek Raceway in Blue Ridge, Georgia, as Super Late Model competitors will gun for a $5,053 winner’s check in ‘Memorial Day Mayhem.’

Madison, Georgia standout Garrett Smith is in firm control of the point standings, as he looks for his second straight Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals Series Championship and the $10,053 points payout. Brandon Overton, Benji Hicks, Kaede Loudy, and Jack Franklin sit second through fifth in the latest point tally. There have been seven different winners in the first eight series races with only Brandon Overton reaching victory lane twice. Single race winners on the tour this year include Chris Madden, Garrett Smith, Dale McDowell, Hudson O’Neal, Mike Marlar, and Zack Mitchell.

At North Georgia on Saturday, the pits will open at 3:00pm and the stands will start to allow fans into the facility at 4:00pm. The drivers meeting is set for 5:30pm and hot laps will light up the racetrack at 6:00pm. Grandstand admission will be $25.00 for adults and $15.00 for kids ages 5-11. Pit admission will be $45.00 for adults and $25.00 for kids ages 5-11. Small children ages 4 and under will be admitted onto the grounds for FREE.

On Sunday at Duck River, the pits will open at 1:00pm and the stands will start to allow fans into the facility at 4:00pm. The drivers meeting is set for 5:00pm and hot laps will quickly follow. Grandstand admission will be $35.00 for adults and $20.00 for kids ages 6-12. Pit admission will be $50.00 for adults and $30.00 for kids ages 6-12. Small children ages 5 and under will be admitted onto the grounds for FREE.

Along with the ground-pounding Super Late Models on the ‘Memorial Day Special’ card will be the 602 Late Model, Open Wheel, Bomber, Factory Stock, FWD, Dwarf, Pure Pony, Economy 602, and Kids Mini Cup classes. Duck River Raceway Park is located at 1100 Haskins Chapel Road in Lewisburg, Tennessee. The track phone number is 615-474-2505 and more information concerning the track can be obtained by visiting www.duckriverracewaypark.com.

In the miniseries finale on Monday at Sugar Creek, the pits will open at 2:00pm and the stands will start to allow fans into the facility at 3:00pm. The drivers meeting is set for 5:30pm and hot laps will get underway at 6:00pm. Grandstand admission will be $25.00 for adults and $10.00 for kids ages 6-12. Pit admission will be $45.00 for adults and $15.00 for kids ages 6-12. Small children ages 5 and under will be admitted onto the grounds for FREE.

The 602 Late Model, Hobby Sportsman, Open Wheel Modified, SCDRA Stinger, and Stock FWD divisions will join the Super Late Models on the ‘Memorial Day Mayhem’ card. Sugar Creek Raceway is located at 2252 Sugar Creek Road in Blue Ridge, Georgia. Additional information on the track can be accessed by calling 321-863-2479 or by logging onto www.racesugarcreek.com.
