Scott Bogucki announced his departure from 3 Stooges Racing following the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series races at Williams Grove this weekend.

In a post to Facebook, Bogucki wrote, “Three Stooges Racing and I have mutually decided to end our time together. I cannot thank Jeff & Laurie West and the family enough for the opportunity. 15 years ago I left home to chase a dream. From scraping mud and crewing cars to traveling the country, racing has been my entire life. I’m not sure where this lands me or what opportunities may arise, but I need to thank those closest to me for their unwavering support and believing in me since day one. I will take a look at what opportunities become available and post updates as things come together.”

It was announced back in December that Bogucki would chase the 2026 Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year title for the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series with Three Stooges Racing. At the time, Bogucki told WorldofOutlaws.com, “It’s unbelievable. It’s been my dream since I was 15 years old. It’s the reason I left home, left my family and everything behind, was to come here and chase that dream. For me, it’s always been to be an Outlaw.”

“Honestly, I don’t even really have words. It’s something I had kind of thought was never going to happen, and mentally realized that and became okay with it. It was always going to be disappointing, but I’d given it my best shot. So, when you think that’s happening and then all of a sudden you get with a new team and get together, and they’re like, ‘Hey, let’s do this,’ it doesn’t even really feel real to be honest.”

Bogucki was 15th in points after 11 starts out of 19 total features. he had 1 top 5 and 3 top 10s. His top 5 finish was a 2nd place finish at Lawton Speedway in the middle of March. His other top 10s came at US 36 Raceway at the end of March. He finished 8th and a 10th place finish at I-55 Federated Auto Parts Raceway Park on April 10th. He struggled at Williams Grove finishing 9th in a Last Chance Showdown (LCS) on Friday and 7th in a LCS on Saturday night.

3 Stooges Racing fielded a 410 winged sprint car for the first time in 2025. Joel Myers Jr. ran six races for the team before Bogucki joined them in August.
