With thunderstorms bringing heavy rainfall to Nodak Speedway Sunday evening leaving the track unsuitable for racing, World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series and SLS Promotions have agreed to postpone the remainder of the Gerdau Metals Recycling Magic City Showdown to Monday, Aug. 31.

Pit gates will open at 2:00pm CT, grandstand gates will open at 4:00pm CT, and Race//Ready Hot Laps will begin at 6:30pm CT. Racing will follow Hot Laps.

Tickets purchased for Sunday’s race at Nodak will be honored on Monday. If you have any questions regarding ticketing, contact SLS Promotions.

David Gravel leads the championship standings, chasing his third straight title with Michael “Buddy” Kofoid, Sheldon Haudenschild, Carson Macedo, and Logan Schuchart completing the top five.
