The Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series fueled by VP makes the first trek to the Bluegrass State this weekend for a doubleheader of races. Both events will be co-sanctioned with the Coltman Farms Racing Battle of the Bluegrass DIRTcar Series presented by Slicker Graphics.
On Friday, July 3, the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series will visit 191 Speedway in Campton, Ky. for the first time ever in a 30-lap $5,000-to-win event. This will mark the 79th different track the series has visited. In addition, the Modifieds, Crate Late Models, 4-Cylinders and Crown Vics will all be on tap. The 604 Crate Late Models must race with their division that night and aren’t allowed to compete in the series event. The series, however, is placing a $150 bonus to the highest finishing Steel Block / 525 engine in the feature and $100 bonus to the second-highest finishing Steel Block / 525 engine. The Coltman Farms Battle of the Bluegrass DIRTcar Series have visited 191 Speedway on two former occasions with Derek Fisher of Olympia, Ky. picking up the 2025 victory and most recently the Steve Kincaid Memorial over Brandon Fouts, Zach Hill, Todd Brennan & Justin Cooper.
