High Limit Racing competitor Brent Marks has been busy behind the scenes as he unveiled a new wrap and sponsor ahead of the series’ race at Lawrenceburg tonight.

On Thursday, May 28th, Marks announced the team’s new partnership deal with K&L Utilities while also teasing his new wrap. He wrote, “Welcome to the team K&L Utilities. I’m excited for the K&L Utilities 19 to hit the track tomorrow at Lawrenceburg Speedway!”

After announcing the partnership and teasing the car’s new wrap, Marks posted a picture of the new look No. 19, “What can I say? I like my black and white cars.”

It’s definitely a different look for Marks, who typically ran an all yellow scheme and was one of the most recognizable cars on the track.

Marks is going to be very busy over the next couple of weeks as the High Limit Racing series has a flurry of races. The series competes at Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, Indiana tonight. It then heads to Butler Speedway in Quincy, Michigan on Saturday, May 30th.

They’ll have Sunday off, but will be back in action at Davenport Speedway in Davenport, Iowa for a midweek race on Monday, June 1st. They’ll get a day to make the tow to Red Cedar Speedway in Menomonie, Wisconsin where they will compete on Wednesday, June 3rd. That’s the first of four back-to-back races. They’ll be at Gondik Law Speedway on June 4th, I-94 Speedway on the 5th, and then Dacotah Speedway on June 6th.

They’ll get a brief respite, but will be back in action on June 9th at Eagle Raceway in Eagle, Nebraska and then at Shelby County Speedway in Harlan, Iowa just a couple of days later on June 11th.

Marks is currently 10th in the High Limit Racing points standings. He is 266 points behind current leader Aaron Reutzel. He only has 2 Top 5s and 2 Top 10s through 14 features so far. His best finish has been fourth. He did that twice. First, in the series opener at the Dirt Track at Las Vegas in March and then at Vado Speedway Park later in the month. His most recent finish was a 24th at Grandview, where he was involved in a wreck with Brenham Crouch.

Marks had five wins with the series last year en route to a third place finish in the points standings. He won at Texas Motor Speedway, Port Royal Speedway, Douglas County Speedway, Lakeside Speedway, and Lucas Oil Speedway.
