Ridge And Ditch Reunion Next Up For COMP Cams Super Dirt Series

After a four and five year hiatus, the COMP Cams All-American Super Dirt Series makes its return to two storied Arkansas mainstays as they invade the Crowley’s Ridge Raceway and Riverside International Speedway this weekend August 7th and 8th. Both events will see a $5,000 winner’s purse with $500 to start the main event.

Friday night’s action sees a return to the fan favorite Crowley’s Ridge Raceway. The stars of the CCSDS last tackled the legendary quarter mile better known as “The Ridge” back in September of 2022 when Longview, TX driver Morgan Bagley made it three straight victories at the Paragould, AR facility also capturing victories in the series 2019 and 2021 events with Kyle Beard and Billy Moyer Jr in tow.

Saturday night caps off the Natural State weekend with a return to the West Memphis, AR oval Riverside International Speedway widely known as “The Ditch”. In the last contested series event in April of 2021, Columbus, MS driver Neil Baggett bested the series regulars and parked in victory lane followed by Austin Rettig and Kyle Beard.

In the latest series action, the CCSDS took to the Historic Half-Mile Thunderbird Speedway for the Forever 66 Hayden Ross Memorial with Muskogee’s own Eli Ross capturing his first series victory on Friday night and Robeline, Louisiana’s Cade Dillard capturing his seventh series victory of the year on Saturday.

Entering the weekend, Dillard holds the top spot in the standings with Kyle Beard making the jump to the second spot with a pair of podium finishes at Thunderbird and Timothy Culp completing the top three. Billy Moyer and Chandler round out the top five in the standings. Billy Moyer Jr, Morgan Bagley, Eli Ross, RC Whitwell, and Brandon Ball complete the top ten.

Weekend action gets underway on Friday with Pits and Grandstands opening at 5PM, Hot Laps at 7PM and Racing to follow. Pit Passes are $40, General Admission is $25 for adults, Kids 6-10 $10 and 5 and under free. Also on the docket are Factory Stocks and VROOM Vintage cars.

On Saturday Grandstands once again open at 5PM with Hot Laps set for 630 PM and racing to follow. Pit Passes are $40, General Admission is $25, kids 6-11 $5 and 5 and under free. Also on the docket are the VROOM vintage B-cars and Stock Cars.
